Is it pathetic to be on eharmony at 22? Given the amount of people that suggest it to me, I'm guessing no. She has a point though, I don't ever know. And considering my social life is nonexistent and all my time is spent with people under the age of 10, perhaps it's not a bad idea. Decisions, decisions.

It doesn't hurt to try it. My brother used that site and met a couple of really nice women ... just not the ONE.

I'm all for meeting people in unconventional ways.

One of my best friends did match.com and met her husband that way (they have now been married for almost 4 years and have a son). When she joined, she was probably around 22 (she is now 29).

I think the fact that eharmony and match.com have such high success rates makes me more comfortable with the idea. My cousin met her husband on eharmony, her brother met his wife there, and most of their guests at their wedding were matched on one of the websites and are dating or married.

We shall see...

I didn't intend to skip out for the past (almost) week, &, as a matter of fact, I actually HAD things to blog about (shocking, I know), but the end of last week was pure chaos and time did not allow for much of anything other than work/appointments/errands/getting ahead on school work/playing mom to three kids all weekend. And all of that running around & time spent with kids has left me with a terrible cold, intense nausea, and sleep deprevation. However, my flight leaves at 7:05 tomorrow morning & by 2 EST, I'll be in beautiful St Thomas with another friend visiting one of my favorite people in the world & for that, I am beyond grateful. Catch y'all in a week or so! Aloha. Or whatever the Caribbean equivalent of goodbye is.

Random Facts about Me You Probably Don't Care to Know.

Brown Eyed Girl Jenn did this post earlier today and I thought it was fun, I haven't done a meme in ages, and I have a handful of new followers who may like to know useless information about me, so I figured what the heck? Might as well steal it. Thanks, Jenn! The ABCs of yours truly! A. Age -- 23. I'll be 24 on May 20th (I love surprises in the mail, hint hint ;)) and some days I can't believe I'm that old, while others, I can't believe I'm that young. B. Bed size -- Queen and it's the most heavenly thing in the world, which is great, but also bad, because it is nearly impossible to pull myself out of bed every morning... or afternoon. C. Chore you dislike -- Cleaning the shower would probably be my least favorite. The Season of Giving... & Receiving

Read this post. Trust me, you'll want to. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year. From Thanksgiving until January 1st, I forget about how much I despise cold weather and bask in the warmth that is Christmas cheer. Oh, Lord, is that cheesy or what? But I mean it. There's just something about all the decorations, the music, the preparation for the birth of my Lord, that makes me all giddy. But it can also be a stressful time with the end of school, shopping to do, letters to send, volunteer work, etc. I know I'm not the only person in the world who stresses. Kids, taking care of the home, jobs, finding a job, loved ones who are fighting for our freedom overseas, school, being a good friend and family member-- it can all be so overwhelming and take a toll on the body. I try to use homeopathic remedies (I think that's the term I'm looking for...) when I'm feeling incredibly stressed because Lord knows my body gets pumped full of enough pharmaceuticals as is...
