You Can All Sleep A Little Better Tonight

Because I got a nannying job, and I know my lack of employment was consuming every fiber of your being with worry.

One kid, 9 months old, 30 hours a week until January (MWF), 36 hours a week January until I start nursing school. Whenever that may be. I've done the math for how much I'll make between now and July and Fickle White is very, VERY happy.

Work kicked me hiney today. I have an even deeper appreciation for stay-at-home madres. Between 9 hours of playing, feeding, keeping safe, walking, laundry, vacuuming, and cleaning dishes, then grocery shopping, coming home and cooking dinner, cleaning up my house, and studying for my exam in the a.m., I be wiped.

That is all.

How much do you charge for ~36 hours a week, one infant? I'm doing the EXACT same thing (only with a 9week old) in January.. and think I'm not charging enough.

That will be fun! And a lot of work. But I am sure you can do it. I am glad you got a job!

I can imagine you are excited, but exhausted! I remember the baby days, they were so exhausting.
