Life update in bullet points.
* After a few breakdowns, lots of stress, hundreds of hours studying, lots of money, and a LONG semester, I can finally brag about getting a B in advanced physiology and an A in lifespan development. If you'll remember, I almost dropped advanced physio because I was pretty sure I wasn't even going to get a C in the class. I'm rarely proud of myself, but this is one of the few times where I patted myself on the back and was proud of all my hard work.
*I'm taking two online classes next semester, medical terminology & abnormal psychology. I don't need either of these classes, but I want to stick with the routine of school so that it isn't hard to get back into the swing of things once I start nursing school.
*Speaking of nursing school, my application is due February 1st! I can't believe what I have been working towards for over a year and a half now is finally coming to fruition. I'm so excited to get my application off and then sit on pins & needles waiting for *hopefully* an acceptance letter! If I get in, I'll start in July.
*My bestest friend in the whole wide world is coming to visit January 14!!!!!! She was supposed to meet me and Rosh in NYC, but ended up not being able to. I haven't seen her since October 2009, so I'm SO excited to see her! She lives in Boston, so please cross your fingers that the weather behaves and she's able to get here.
*Momma and I are flying down to Siesta Key February 5th. Momma's having reconstructive foot surgery in a couple weeks, so she decided to recover in Florida for three weeks with my dad. My dad will be driving down the week before us, I'll help my mom fly down, bum it out on the beach for a week, then come back home while my parents spend the rest of their time there together.
*While in Florida, I'll be meeting my twin, Jess!!! Omg, I cannot explain how excited I am! This meeting has been a "dream" for a while now and I can't believe it's about to come true! I'm also hoping to meet Jenna & gang! I can't wait to give my two favorite J's squeezes!
*I have a friend who is more fickle than me. Can you believe that? He's lived in three different cities since we graduated in May 2009. Personally, I love his demeanor, because it means I have free places to stay when I get the itch to travel. Currently, he's working for the Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. I'm a lot of things, but foolish is not one of them. I booked my trip to St. Thomas yesterday and will be visiting with another friend from March 2-10. There are no words to describe my excitement.
*With so much beach time in the near future, I'm on a mission to lose 30 pounds in 65 days. I don't even know if that's realistic, but as long as I try my hardest I'll be happy with whatever happens. I need to lose 30 anyway, now I just have some serious motivation to do so!
*I normally dread winter, but with all the fun things I have in store, Winter 2011 is one I am very much looking forward to. In fact, I haven't been this excited for winter since 2007... when I spent it in Hawaii ;)

So looking forward to hearing about your adventures!
That's all I have to say, right now.
I know you won't but if you need anything for psych, let me know, that was my double major in college.
Enjoy your beach time - so jealous!
Good luck to your mom on surgery, but what a place to recover! And how lucky are you with all your travel connections. Sounds like you will have an awesome winter!
And finally, we're going to Matalacha FL in March....let the working out begin!
